
Exeter beat visiting Bristol Rovers on Saturday in the England League Two, winning 1-4 (0-4).
The hosting team Exeter started best and were already 1-0 up at the start of the game. After only 3 minutes Matt Jay netted.
The team increased the lead to 2-0 early in the match when Matt Jay made his mark as he scored yet again. This time he scored in the 15th minute.
Exeter also increased their lead to 3-0, when Timothee Dieng scored, in the 22nd minute.
Just two minutes later, it was Harry Kite who found the net ensuring that the team increased the lead again, making it 4-0.
In the 70th minute, Sam Finley scored, to reduce the score for Bristol Rovers. However, Bristol Rovers were unable to make more of an impression. This brought the final score to 4-1.
Bristol Rovers have had a poor start and have only three points from their first four games. Exeter claimed their first win.
The last outing between the teams ended in a 3-1 home win for Bristol Rovers in April 2016.
