Colombia were trailing in the home game against Peru in the Copa America Bronsmatch. But they managed to turn defeat into victory as the match on Saturday finished 3-2 (0-1).
Peru took the lead in added-time in the first half when Yoshimar Yotun scored, with an assist by Christian Cueva.
Straight after the break, Juan Cuadrado scored and equalised for Colombia.
Colombia also made it 1-2 in the 66th minute, when Luis Diaz found the net scored, with an assist by Camilo Vargas.
Eight minutes left to play, Peru’s Gianluca Lapadula equalised as he scored, with an assist by Raziel Garcia.
The deciding goal came in the 90th minute, when Luis Diaz scored yet again. This time he scored a 3-2 for Colombia, with an assist by Luis Muriel, what brought the final score to 3-2.
