
The Championship game between Millwall and Fulham finished 1-2. The away side Fulham was in control and ahead 2-0, and managed to see the game off despite a comeback attempt by Millwall.
The visiting team Fulham started best and were already 0-1 up early in the game. After only 3 minutes Aleksandar Mitrovic netted from a pass from Fabio Carvalho.
The team increased the lead to 0-2 early in the match when Fabio Carvalho made his mark as he scored, with an assist by Neeskens Kebano, in the 8th minute.
The goal that reduced the score to 1-2 came right at the end of the game, when Benik Afobe scored a goal for Millwall, with an assist by Matt Smith. However, Millwall were unable to make more of an impression. This brought the final score to 1-2.
It was Millwall’s fourth game in a row without a win.
Millwall are set to face Cardiff at Cardiff City Stadium, while Fulham face Hull. Both games are scheduled for Saturday.
