Switzerland won 3-1 (2-0) against Turkey in the Euro 2021 group A.
Switzerland scored the first goal when Haris Seferovic scored a goal in the 6th minute, with an assist by Steven Zuber, making it 0-1.
The team also increased their lead to 2-0, as Xherdan Shaqiri scored a goal, with an assist by Steven Zuber, in the 26th minute.
With barely 30 minutes on the clock, Turkey’s Irfan Kahveci scored a goal, with an assist by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and plugged one back for Turkey. However, Turkey were unable to make more of an impression.
In the 68th minute, Xherdan Shaqiri scored a goal, from a pass from Steven Zuber, to increase the lead for Switzerland. This brought the final score to 3-1.
It was the last game of the qualifiers and the result means that Switzerland finish third in the table, with Turkey in fourth place. Switzerland secured their spot in the playoffs.
