Zizou might have only been out of a job for 6-8 weeks so far, but he might have to wait a while longer if he wants the job of his dreams.

Zinedine Zidane will have been enjoying his holidays this summer after leaving Real Madrid for the second time as a manager, with the 49-year-old stepping down after a poor season by the standards of Los Blancos; perhaps to focus more of his time on and look for the best value for money.

The Santiago Bernabeu outfit failed to win a single piece of silverware and were left to watch their neighbours and fierce rivals, Atletico Madrid, take the La Liga title from them and to the Wanda Metropolitano.

However, he may not have been enjoying his whole summer if he had been watching France throughout the Euro 2020 competition, as they were shocked by Switzerland on penalties after Kylian Mbappe had his spot-kick saved.

Or, maybe he has started to rub his hands together? As the France National Team job is the one that he is ultimately after! But that might just be a little premature.

The French Football Federation (FFF) are alleged to be prepared to stand by Didier Deschamps for at least another major football tournament, with the 2022 FIFA World Cup set to take place in Qatar.

Of course, Deschamps guided Les Bleus to the title in the 2018 edition back in Russia, so there will be some hope that he can replicate that feat once again.

The coach’s current deal expires at the end of that World Cup tournament, though, which could be the perfect time for Zidane to get his opportunity; something he will know about if he uses the best payout casinos online possible when playing classic games.

According to a report by L’Equipe, Zizou is set to be prepared to wait until after the 2022 FIFA World Cup or even the 2024 UEFA European Championships to get his chance to lead the country he represented.

It would not be a surprise if he were to wait, as it has been claimed that he has turned down other jobs, whilst Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has claimed it is Zidane’s “dream” to manage France; something he is in no doubt will happen in the future.

The 74-year-old Spaniard said: “I know [Zidane] and it’s been a hard year. I fought for him to stay.

“I haven’t read the farewell letter but I swear by my grandchildren that the one who wrote that letter wasn’t Zidane.

“But I wish him well; he’s been a legend for Real Madrid and has the respect of all of us.

“His dream is to be the coach of France and he’ll surely achieve it.”
