Jose Mourinho has never shied away from making a point or a statement, and if AS Roma did not know what they would be able to expect from the Portuguese boss, they will have already found out.

Once dubbed ‘The Special One’, Mourinho has been able to bring plenty of success to each of the clubs that he has been at before suffering some rather acrimonious exits in the process, as he seems to alienate everyone around him.

The 58-year-old’s last job – at Tottenham Hotspur – was perhaps his poorest performance as a manager at the moment, but he took them to a League Cup Final and was sacked just days before it was played. Hopefully he decided to get over the shock by looking for the best Australian casino sites he could possibly find?

Nonetheless, he would be appointed by AS Roma in what was a rather surprising move, but one he has insisted is not a holiday and that he is in the Italian capital to work.

And, according to a report by Sky Italia (via SportBible), it looks as though he is already laying down the foundations and making everyone aware of where he stands.

The report claims that he has already told eight first-team players that they do not feature in his Stadio Olimpico outfit plans for the season ahead, with each of them having been banished from first-team training.

Justin Kluviert is one such name to feature on the list and one that the AS Roma hierarchy might be regretting spend a huge sum of money on back in 2018.

Pedro is another name that appears on the list and is one that Mourinho will have crossed paths with when managing Real Madrid against FC Barcelona, although the two never crossed paths at Chelsea.

Six other players said to be on the list is Ante Coric, Robin Olsen, Davide Santon, Javier Pastore, Steven Nzonzi and Federico Fazio.

The AS Roma boss is expected to put his own stamp on things in regards to recruitment and player transfers, with individuals such as Rui Patricio and Granit Xhaka having both reportedly been lined up as potential new recruits. He might want to start playing at the Best Online Casino USA has to offer him, though, to try and fund the deals.

However, in perhaps typical Mourinho fashion, he denied all knowledge about any new additions:

“I have not spoken to anyone [about joining Roma],” Mourinho told reporters.

“You can choose to believe whether that is true or not, but I have not spoken to anyone.

“I speak with [Roma general manager] Tiago [Pinto], I speak with the ownership, I speak with different people within the club… but as far as players go, I have not spoken with any of them.”
